X STONE can be installed on many substrates, including drywall, plywood, painted surfaces, MDF, concrete, cement backer board, metal, glass, Sytrofoam and plastic. Surfaces must be clean, dry, free of dust and dirt, and structurally sound. Suitable primers should be used for porous and absorbent surfaces. X STONE can be installed to create the impression of tile or brickwork by leaving a grout joint between the sheets, or butt-jointed for a smaller seam. Applying heat to X STONE makes it extremely flexible in order to take the shape of inside and outside, bends, curvatures and other architectural features. |
